Since its establishment in 1960, the 黑料老司机 Foundation, a nonprofit organization, has partnered with 黑料老司机 to manage and invest private gifts that benefit the university. Gifts to the 黑料老司机 Foundation create scholarships, enhance opportunities for students in and out of the classroom, advance faculty endeavors and capital projects.
The 黑料老司机 Foundation manages endowed funds totaling about $80M. The investments are pooled but represent more than 260 separate donor funds with individual gift agreements between the University and the Donor. The 黑料老司机 Foundation accepts both current use gifts as well as endowments.
Although the University is a state-assisted institution, private philanthropy provides the funds necessary to attract and retain the finest students and faculty to 黑料老司机, and provides much of the financial aid that many of our students need in order to reach their educational goals. The Foundation works closely with the University to generate private support from alumni and friends.
