The mission of the ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú Academic Advising Program is to provide effective, timely, and accurate academic advising and to positively impact student achievement and retention. The Academic Counselor will help students develop a strong foundation of knowledge of all university, core, and major/minor requirements to ensure that they complete these requirements in a timely and mindful way.

It’s easy and it’s free.  Search Navigate Student in your app store. Select ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú to get started. Log in with your myºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»úºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú username and password.  

Students, faculty and staff can also log-in through the  portal. Or, 

New incoming transfer students seeking their first bachelor’s degree who are admitted to ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú by July 1 for fall or November 1 for spring and have all required documents on file with the Admissions Office are automatically considered for our general merit and Phi Theta Kappa scholarships.

MustangsLink is ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú student involvement system that helps students become involved on campus and manage their experiences outside the classroom. MustangsLink serves as the central calendar for student life and has groups for every registered student organization, residence hall, and living learning community on campus as well as a variety of university departments, programs, and resources.

Logging in with your my.msutexas.edu portal account will give you access to everything the app has to offer on your favorite mobile device. It allows you to find events near you based on your location, organization, and category

Tau Sigma National Honor Society is designed exclusively for transfer students! Our mission is to "recognize and promote the academic excellence and involvement of transfer students." Tau Sigma provides its members opportunities to earn scholarships, attend leadership conferences, take leadership positions in the university, serve others at the university and in the community, all while developing friendships and becoming a more integral part of the university to which they transferred! Invitations to membership are extended during each spring semester, for eligible students who transferred to ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú in the previous year.
