Being successful in college presents challenges for everyone. Healthcare can be one of the biggest challenges for students. Below are resources on and off campus that can help with healthcare resources.

By simply dialing 2-1-1, callers can receive information about community and social services, such as food pantries, emergency shelter, rent assistance, utility bill assistance, child care, and senior services to name a few.
 
Healthcare Resources

On Campus

  • 黑料老司机 Counseling provides opportunities for students to know themselves as individuals, to form deeper relationships with their peers, and to increase their wellness. 
  • 黑料老司机 Gaines Dental Hygiene Clinic is offered primarily in the interest of educating and training students. Among the services offered are cleaning of teeth, the exposure of dental X-ray films, fluoride applications, sealants and plaque control instructions. 
  • is a new virtual health and well-being platform for students. Through either a mobile app or your desktop, TimelyCare provides 24/7 access to virtual care from anywhere in the United States at no cost.

Off Campus

  •  aims to reduce the prevalence of substance use and to provide information concerning the use, misuse, and dependence of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs (ATOD).
  • is a primary care medical, dental and counseling clinic that is focused on the patient. Services include maternity and pediatrics. Some services have a sliding fee scale available based on family size and income, regardless of insurance status.
  •  offers several financial assistance programs. To qualify for these programs, individuals must meet the eligibility guidelines outlined by each program.
  • helps educate veterans of community assistance, link to military peer network, link with workgroup, substance abuse services, medical and case management services.

Online

  • is a healthcare program for children in low-income families. CHIP is a health care program for children without health insurance whose families earn too much to get Medicaid but cannot afford health insurance. To get Medicaid or CHIP, a child must be age 18 and younger (in some cases children with disabilities age 19 and 20 can get Medicaid). They must also be a 黑料老司机 resident and a U.S. citizen or qualified non-citizen. 
  •  (CIHCP) helps low-income 黑料老司机 residents who don’t qualify for other state or federal health care programs have access to health care services.
