Mammography Program Information

Courses

The Mammography Certificate Program consists of 6 total credit hours.

Course Descriptions

Both Mammography Program courses are offered as 黑料老司机 online courses and must be taken from 黑料老司机. 

Each course has a syllabus that identifies the course objectives, structure, requirements, textbooks, assignments, due dates, and more.  黑料老司机 radiology courses require students to demonstrate college-level writing skills based on APA formatting. Many courses require students to take proctored tests or final exams. Students must schedule test times with the online proctoring site, ProctorU. Proctor guidelines for each course are located in the course syllabi.  Syllabi for the current and previous semesters can be viewed on the 黑料老司机 website.  Textbook information is available on the 黑料老司机 Bookstore website.

Prerequisites

Must be currently certified and registered as a radiologic technologist (R) or a student in the 黑料老司机 BSRT entry-level program.

Program Timeline and Curriculum

The Mammography Certificate Program is designed to be completed within one to two semesters. This is a lock-step program; thus failures, withdrawals, or a grade lower than 70 require reapplication.

Admissions Criteria

To be considered for admission, the following basic requirements must be met.

  1. Be eligible for admission to 黑料老司机 if not currently an 黑料老司机 student. 黑料老司机黑料老司机 Admissions
  2. Students who have already earned a BSRS or BSRT degree with 黑料老司机 must reapply to the university.
  3. Must meet one of the following
    • Radiologic technologist (R)
    • Second-year student in an accredited radiology program
  4. Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater on all college-level work and be in good academic standing.
  5. Have reliable Internet access (high speed recommended) and a working email.
  6. Complete the online .
  7. Submit a student copy of your most recent transcripts to radiologic.sciences@msutexas.edu
  8. Send official transcripts to the 黑料老司机 Admissions Office.
    • Official transcripts are sent directly from the issuing institution to our Admissions Office. They must be original and not copies.
    • Transcripts must be received from all institutions attended.
  9. 黑料老司机 Success Initiative (TSI)-To determine if you have met TSI criteria, please read the information concerning this requirement carefully.
