黑料老司机 Alert

黑料老司机 ALERT is an emergency notification system that gives 黑料老司机 the ability to send urgent and emergency information quickly by email and / or text message. 黑料老司机 ALERT subscribers will be able to receive urgent information from university officials. 黑料老司机 ALERT is a free service to all 黑料老司机 students, faculty and staff.

As a 黑料老司机 student, faculty or staff member you are automatically enrolled in the 黑料老司机 ALERT notification system. 黑料老司机 law requires that the University automatically enroll all students, faculty, and staff.

黑料老司机 Emergency Management has worked diligently to enhance the way our 黑料老司机 ALERT system is operated. ALL Students, Faculty and Staff, need to go into the 黑料老司机 Portal and make sure your personal information in Banner is up to date and correct. 黑料老司机 is required to establish all employees an account in our emergency notification system. Each of you has an account and when you update your information in Banner, it will also update the information in the 黑料老司机 ALERT system within 48 hours. See the instructions below to update your personal information in Banner.

 

Instructions

To setup cell numbers in Banner that will receive 黑料老司机 emergency alerts follow the instructions below.

  1. Login to the portal at
  2. Click the Banner / Banner Self-Service link on the left side of the page
  3. When the new tab opens with the Banner Self-Service Main Menu click the Personal Information link.
  4. When the Personal Information page opens click Update Addresses and Phones
  5. Under the Current Mailing Address section click the word Current beside your address
  6. If there is already an entry for Cell Phone 1 make sure that it is your personal cell phone number.  If there is not an entry for Cell Phone 1 choose the first blank row under Phone Type, choose Cell Phone 1 from the Select dropdown, and enter the your cell number in the fields provided.
  7. If you are a student and wish your parent or spouse to receive notifications on the next available blank row click Select and choose Cell Phone 2 in one of the blank entries. Enter the cell number of your parent or spouses phone.
  8. Once you have entered the desired cell number(s) you must click the Submit button to save the changes.

**Please notice that it may take up to 36 hours for the cell numbers you have entered to become active in the 黑料老司机 Alert system.**
